Secretary Marco Rubio
@SecRubio

For more than six decades, the Cuban regime has been the leading sponsor of radical leftism and Third Worldism in the United States.

The State Department is exposing the full history of Cuban espionage and subversion in our country.

The American people deserve to know.

ransomnote: After reading the report Rubio linked, CUBA | THE CAPITAL OF 21st CENTURY COMMUNISM (PDF), I realized that the concluding paragraph (see last paragraph indented below), was likely written for people like me who did not realize just how weaponized CUBA has been. As a failed nation, I did not see its profound success in tormenting America in its endless endeavor to destroy us.

By the end of the State Department's (well-written) report, I had the distinct impression of Cuba as a forwarding operating base - the equivalent of a stationary aircraft carrier - docked near America, protecting, recruiting, supplying and collaborating with every enemy America has had, and will have.

Cuba is home sweet home to foreign intelligence agencies, some with multiple offices in Cuba, conducting cyber attacks, electronic disruption, intelligence collection etc. along with terrorist training and the cultivation of Antifa, No Kings rallies etc., while saturating our government, universities with their ideology. The money, the recruting via 'tourist visits' offered to college students. The Democratic Socialists of America are among Cuba's proudest accomplishments, because they can use it to function as a 'legitimate' social effort - no more hiding behind terrorist organizations like the Black Panthers, the Weathermen etc.

Our intelligence agencies say that Cuba's intel people are top flight, largely because they are 'true believers' with some lasting in our government for 30 to 50 years. Lives spent attempting to destroy the United States, while working and drawing a pension from...the United States.

I think CUBA's success fielding attacks on America explains why few nations find it cost effective to own and operate their own air craft carriers. Why bother? Fly terrorists into CUBA for training, fly them to Africa or the Middle East for additional training, insert them into the US under 'exchange' programs and 'freeing the oppressed.' Harbor terrorists escaping the US to Cuba's terrorist 'haven'. Karen Bass is alumni of the nation's efforts to rot the US from within, but she's just one of the countless insurgents, whether armed or ideological, which Cuba is proud to sponsor.

LAST PARAGRAPH Exerpted from the report:

"To mistake Cuba's poverty for harmlessness is to misunderstand the threat entirely. Its material weakness was never the measure of its danger. Its power was always ideological, subversive, and parasitic – and it has proven remarkably durable, outlasting the Soviet empire that helped build it and grafting itself onto every new enemy of the United States that has arisen since. Today it serves as the connective tissue of a broader anti-American coalition, a staging ground where the ambitions of Moscow, Beijing, and Tehran converge with the radical movements operating inside our own border

If we don’t take Cuba in the next two years we never will.

Well, if anybody would know, it would be th e State Department. They’ve probably been in cahoots with the Castros’ Cuber on how to subvert America. Until now. Am I right, Karen Bass Turd? Up high! ✋️

“Third Worldism

An awkward turn of phrase, but quite apt.

Perhaps one of the bigger foreign policy errors of the Cold War.

DSA members take trips to train in Cuba.

So did Karen Bass and her buddies the Venceneros Brigade, the BLM, the Weather Underground, and a bunch of middle eastern terrorists, also, the IRA.

Rubio is doing us proud in his role. He didn’t crumple into bitterness like others that Trump badmouthed in the 2016 elections, or who lost elections like Gore or Hillary. He stood up and kept going, and now does his present high office wholeheartedly and well without sabotaging POTUS as Rand Paul and sometimes Cruz have tried to do. He has admirable character. I hope he stays in conservative politics for a long time.

When New York City started with 'city government owned grocery stores' that carried the stench of Cuban commies.

Yes but better then this

Bay of Pigs Invasion on April 17–20, 1961, was a failed, CIA-financed and U.S.-backed amphibious landing by Cuban exiles intended to overthrow the leftist government of Fidel Castro.
