lon Musk has split from his partner Shivon Zilis, the mother of four of his youngest children, "with no warning."
In a lengthy statement posted to X, along with their last text messages, she wrote that it was "hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that’s just how it is sometimes."
The tech executive, whose tweet came in response to a bot that confirmed Elon had unfollowed Shivon, went on to share that her time with Elon left her "beyond grateful for our children and they make every single day the best day of my life," and added: "I do hope and pray he and I can be great friends and co-parents."
However, the majority of the statement revealed how she had impacted Elon's life, writing: "I feel happy that I got to show Elon how it feels to be deeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness.
"Given the tumultuous nature of his early life, his often tortured soul, and how hard he fights for humanity I wanted him to feel the deepest and most stable form of love this world can provide. My heart is full knowing I got to do that, and I hope it leaves a lasting good effect."
Shivon also shared their last text message, from September 24, 2026, in which she told him it was "wonderful" to see him for breakfast and that she loved him "very much," to which he responded: "Love you too."
He also apologized for not taking her to a White House dinner, saying he didn't know "significant others" were invited.

I wouldn’t care, except when children are involved. I’m not saying Musk is one of them, but a parent who abandons his children’s home for no good reason is trash.
But of course a trashy parent can still be a great asset to the country. So there’s that.
Some of these guys don’t seem to realize that Musk might be an incredible draw for women also because of who he is and what he does, he might be interesting as all get out, the money thing is a valid generality, but that is all, some men are interesting to women aside from money and/or fame.
