NASHVILLE, TENN. (WSMV/WVLT/Gray News) - The doctor who oversaw Christa Gail Pike’s lethal injection was also involved in another botched execution earlier this year.
Mark Fowler, the doctor who oversaw Pike’s botched execution, was also involved in the attempted execution of Tony Carruthers. His execution was abandoned in May after medical staff failed to establish IV access, a process that took more than an hour.
That said, Tennessee did successfully execute an inmate in August. Anthony Darrell Hines was executed at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville for the 1985 murder of Catherine Jean Jackson Jenkins.

you ain’t right in the head when you think murdering someone is an option and act on that thought.
and that can get expensive. you will throw everything you have, and then borrow to keep them around a little longer as long as they are comfortable...
and for some reason, a while after they are gone.

I am a 100% firm beliver that your past pets send you their replacements when you are ready. my current dog and cats knew me and what I liked before they ever got in the house or my car. (The walmart cat did make a show of getting in to the car. the scabs are about healed up now lol)
We live in Knoxville where the crime occurred those many years ago. I say firing squad. My wife says hang her. We’re both ok with ol’ sparky.
