My guess is that people scavenged the ark for wood to construct houses, etc. So there would have been nothing left after a few years.

If this object is just a routine boat that somehow made it on top of a mountain range, maybe. it’s nothing special if so.

However, if it is really Noah’s Ark, I think it would be protected because the people descending from the Ark would view it as a sacred object, where you might die if you take it a part.
