True that March 23rd was a record low for the date. But today there are 16 other years that were lower for the date. This data is very important to Manhattan liberals who sit in their apartments ordering from Doordash and wouldn’t go to the Arctic if you paid them.

Interestingly, NSIDC shows the 1981-2010 median which ignores 30 percent of the historical record. The warmists constantly cherry pick their data, I’m playing by their rules. The fact that the artic has more ice than any of the last 12 years doesn’t fit their narrative. Sea ice is higher than 2007, which is when Gore said it would be ice-free by 2016. 2 other issues are the magnitude of the decline, which from the graph you can see is only about 10 percent in the winter, and why anyone cares about friggin sea ice enogh to destroy their economy and lanscape with 10,000 600 foot tall wind turbines that look like crap and ruin the view across 1000 miles of Europe, so that China and India can build 400 coal power plants and global CO2 emission continue to grow at the same rate. Since the 70s every few years, the Looney Left Climatologist’s say it’s melting or we are heading into ice age. Obviously it’s just natural fluctuations, as God intended, but these people choose to make climate changes their god. what a waste of brain space and of time.
