AMSL was never the issue. They’d gladly sell more equipment if someone would but it.
We need at least 1 or more companies making machines that can compete with AMSL and we need more companies than Taiwan Semiconductor, Samsung, and Intel who can take those AMSL machines and produce advanced semiconductors.
Right now, AMSL is the only company in the game for advanced lithographic machines, that’s a problem combined with the fact that basically 3 companies control manufacturing of advanced semiconductors is also a major problem.
