I may have seen that plane. Not long ago, I was at a Memorial Day rally at Point Mugu when a warplane flew over us. I thought it was a warplane from the nearby naval base, but my flight radar app on my cell phone identified it as a Mirage. Then another flew by which was identified as a Hawker Hunter. I was surprised, as I didn't think the Navy used either one.

I found out later that they were privately owned and that the planes were used to assist the Navy in training exercises.
