CNN, MS NOW, Politico reporters turned away from White House hours after judge orders access restored

Reporters for CNN, MS NOW and Politico were blocked from entering the White House complex Thursday morning, hours after a DC federal judge ruled President Trump’s ban on the three media outlets was likely unconstitutional.

In an eight-page order, US District Judge Tim Kelly told administration officials to immediately return reporters’ press passes that were confiscated Saturday and blocked enforcement of Trump’s ban for 14 days.

However, an unidentified Politico journalist, CNN correspondent Betsy Klein and MS NOW reporter Laura Barrón-López were denied entry after presenting themselves at a Secret Service checkpoint.

We're all reporters, as the first amendment freedom of the press refers to the right of the people to publish, not the right of a select few to name themselves the "press" to claim rights unique to themselves only.

If they want access to the White House, get on the tourist line like the rest of us reporters.

I would be tempted to get the cheapest easy up tent you can find, set up on the lawn, just inside the gate. Play TV monitor out there with a live feed of the press room. Problems solved. Have fun this winter.

I served, all three of my brothers served, my father served, my son served and is now a disabled vet 100%, my daughter served in Afganistain in a box outside Kabul during the fighting as intelligence for DoD.
