Very inconvenient for the "our elections are safe and secure" crowd.
No joke, a Utah postal worker has been indicted for allegedly yeeting more than 300 mail-in ballots into a church parking lot dumpster right before the state's June primary.
Damon Matai Seei, 34, of Payson, was working his route in Eagle Mountain when he apparently tossed the ballots in a dumpster.
He allegedly tossed the ballots along with other mail, so we're not entirely sure whether he hates elections, hates his job, or just had a bad day.
(It was Pride Month, for goodness' sake, the worst time of the year.)
You might be wondering where the name "Matai Seei" originates. It's Samoan.
The U.S. Postal Service, meanwhile, declared that "illegal mail-handling behavior by employees will not be tolerated" and reminded everyone that election mail is "top priority."
Maybe, just maybe, Republicans could go ahead and pass the SAVE Act, and we could stop worrying about all this nonsense.

Was that wrong? Should I have not done that? I tell you I gotta plead ingnorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was frouned upon, you know, cause I’ve worked in a lot of offices and I tell you peope do that all the time.

They know a lot. Even a brief glance at my mail in recent years showed “President Trump Thanks You” and “President Trump Needs You Again” fundraising envelopes. As to neighbors, very few around here get National Review and New American and others like them but lots get Mother Jones, Atlantic, New Republic and Nation compared to them (not that many actually get magazines now). Any place a person gave money to sends ads asking for more money.
The mail handlers and the delivery carriers all know that week after week.
Funny sidenote. Once when I moved from a cheesy neighborhood
apartment to a much nicer one (when I was young) the new building had a pile of five or six Book of the Month Club packages under the mail boxes. Showed the types I was now near.
The next time you hear the word “mail in voting” - you must think “electoral fraud.”
There is NO way to secure the processes of mass mail-in voting, and as we have seen, mailing, counting and verification standards among districts are wildly different.
The fact a biased postman in a particular district can simply throw-away 300 ballots is simply one more data point and proof of this.

In 2020 we knew that the USPS had been either purposely malevolent, or just lazy and incompetent, when it came to mail-in and absentee ballots.
And Trump ... ON PURPOSE ... wants to involve them in upcoming elections. STUPID STUPID STUPID! If we lose, we deserve to.

This happened in a primary election. There’s no possibility of helping a Democrat versus a Republican or vice versa.
If he had been willing to commit a crime in order to hurt Republicans, he would’ve waited until the general election. The simplest explanation here is that he was just lazy and dishonest.
