Judge Judy is doubling down on her love of America, telling people who want to fundamentally change the country to "go somewhere else."
During an interview with USA Today, Judy Sheindlin, 83, opened up about her views on America and the enduring popularity of her courtroom television persona.
"I have a house, and I have a home. I consider America my home. America has been good to me. I think that it’s the greatest country in the world," Sheindlin said.
"If you don’t like this country, go somewhere else," she continued. "Don’t come to the greatest country in the world, the most successful country in the world, and say, ‘I want to change it.’ There are other countries that are the something else that you want. Go there. Go there. But don’t come into my home and say, ‘I want to change it.’"
"We are a capitalist country that revered excellence, that revered entrepreneurship, that revered all the things that made us great," she added. "Whether you like it or not, it's there."
Sheindlin’s comments came as CBS celebrated the 30th anniversary of "Judge Judy" with the primetime special "Judge Judy: Unfiltered, Unforgettable." ... "There are reasons for bad behavior, but there are never excuses...

My friend Abe, a Black guy, retired career Army, watches Judge Judy every day.
When my car broke down, I asked him to drive me across town for a dentist appointment. He looked at his watch and said, “Sure, I can get there in time to watch Judge Judy in the waiting room,”
Nice to know his priorities. Now he’s asking me whether he should ask a woman he likes to go to lunch with him. He should first ask her whether she watches Judge Judy.
I didn’t know about Judge Judy joining the Supremes.

I’ve been following US Attorney Pirro’s page on X and her office is constantly removing criminal scum from the streets of Washington, D.C.

She was never respectful on her show. Often caustic, snarky, sarcastic, and insulting.
I think it's why producers hired her, and why audiences watched her. They enjoyed seeing her insult her plaintiffs and defendants.
I never enjoyed her show, but saw bits of it when other people were watching it in the same room with me.
Judge Judy is 83 so doubt it would ever happen.
Yeah she disrespected plantiffs and defendents alike when their cases or defenses were obviously goof ball and lame. Both sides on the same show would get a tongue lashing when they misbehaved and shaded the truth. I can see why I wouldn’t want to watch this everyday though but I have to respect a NYC judge trying to be righteous who needs to be tough and caustic at getting to the truth. I wouldn’t want the job.
