This functionality has always existed but previously it reduced CPU & io performance to a crawll.
This functionality of finding and correcting mistakes could be narrow or broad.
As a narrow function it could be a glorified spell checker.
Or it could look for misstatements of objective fact, eg the zip code, city, county, state of an address.
Or it could go even further and correct the work of an employee who made statements contrary to the position of the company on an issue.
Or it could enhance and add data to a message.
The original might say “There are 3 examples of this”.
That might be expanded to “Here are 5 examples of this”.
Should we be thrilled or moderately terrified?
I’m trying to make sense of this technobabble.
What errors is it trying to fix? Checksum style errors where the hardware itself is returning errors because of quantum “flux”?
(Older CPUs could get things like EMF noise causing a disruption of the electrical field around the chip and possibly causing circuitry to be energized or not thus changing “values” in the system.
