Reportedly, the series was suspended after season 4 because the actors were called up by the IDF. True or false?

I do not know the timeline of when the series first aired. But MANY Israelis were called up after Oct 7. So it would not surprise me at all.

True. Basically everyone in the show is ex-military, including the women.

Makes for really good action sequences, as even the extras know what they are doing.
