My cousin just passed after 7 years of progressing Alzheimers. And he died from Alzheimers. His brain could no longer message the diaphragm and lungs to function. He died literally of suffocation.
Cause of death in such cases is often “adult failure to thrive.”
That is very sad, may I ask if it was early onset?
