1hBREAKING STUDY: Nattokinase Breaks Down SPIKE PROTEIN, AMYLOID MICROCLOTS, BLOOD CLOTS, and SHRINKS ARTERIAL PLAQUE
We assembled DECADES of evidence to uncover the powerful MULTI-TARGET EFFECTS of nattokinase:
- Degrades spike protein
- Breaks down harmful amyloid proteins
- Dissolves abnormal amyloid microclots
- Breaks down fibrin blood clots
- Boosts the body’s natural clot-dissolving system
- Shrinks arterial plaque
- Lowers blood pressure
- Reduces blood-clotting factors and platelet clumpingOur new paper, “Proteolytic Targets and Clinical Benefits of Oral Nattokinase: Spike Protein and Amyloid Degradation, Fibrinolysis, and Cardiovascular Risk Reduction,” was produced through a collaboration between The Wellness Company and the McCullough Foundation.
It represents one of the most comprehensive evaluations of nattokinase to date, uniquely integrating its proteolytic, cardiovascular, pharmacokinetic, amyloid, and spike-protein literature into a single paper.
After oral dosing, nattokinase-related activity shows up in human blood and changes clotting and clot-breakdown markers within hours.
Three independent labs have now shown that nattokinase-related enzymes can BREAK DOWN SPIKE PROTEIN in vitro—including purified nattokinase itself.
At higher doses, human imaging studies reported about a 36% SHRINKAGE in carotid artery plaque—suggesting the effective range may begin around 6,000 FU/day.
Randomized human trials also show modest BLOOD-PRESSURE reductions with nattokinase, with pooled decreases of about 3.5 mmHg systolic and 2.3 mmHg diastolic.
And in long-term population studies, higher natto intake was associated with a 25% LOWER RISK of cardiovascular death and a 32% LOWER RISK of stroke death.
Nattokinase has been well tolerated across human studies, with no notable adverse events reported across six randomized trials. Even 10,800 FU/day for 12 months was used in a large observational cohort without reported excess bleeding.
This inexpensive, orally available enzyme holds immense promise for cardiovascular risk reduction in the post-COVID era.
It now deserves large-scale clinical testing for cardiovascular risk reduction and other post-vaccination injury applications.
We plan to launch some of these studies shortly.

GROK Summary:
- The X post by epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher announces a new review paper on Zenodo synthesizing evidence for nattokinase, a serine protease from fermented soybeans, claiming it degrades spike protein and amyloids in vitro, dissolves fibrin clots, reduces arterial plaque, and lowers blood pressure.
- Peer-reviewed lab studies, including a 2022 Molecules paper, confirm nattokinase breaks down SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in a dose- and time-dependent manner in cell cultures, while human trials show modest systolic/diastolic BP reductions of ~3.5/2.3 mmHg and up to 36% carotid plaque shrinkage at higher doses like 6,000+ FU/day.
- The review, co-authored by McCullough Foundation affiliates, highlights nattokinase's fibrinolytic activity and safety profile across studies but notes the spike protein and microclot benefits remain primarily preclinical, calling for larger clinical trials in post-COVID contexts.

Sarcasm, right?
Somebody clue me in... Is the objective of this paper to show how nattokinase would have been a better option for someone seeking protection back when they were fretting and catching WuFlu was all the rage? Or is this all about getting rid of the after-effects if they got talked into taking the EGT... ie. some type of detox effect?
I see ‘Lumbrokinase’ mentioned... Is this basically supposed to have the same benefits of nattokinase?
I have a family member who took several shots of the EGT.... two negative things have stood out to me as I’ve observed her since. One is that her level of hearing has noticeable dropped. The second is that she now is incredibly forgetful and often says ‘she is walking around in a fog’. These symptoms ramped up noticeably after the EGT shots. Is nattokinase supposed to help with those symptoms?
We’ve taken nattokinase every day for a few years now per the recommendations of Peter McCullough. The wife being an advanced practice Registered Nurse chose to accept two vax doses. We began the nattokinase nearly immediately.
I’ve never been vaccinated but I did finally contract COVID last year. She brought it home.
Good questions. I’ve had 9 clot events in my life, all were while I was not taking nattokinase. I’m Protein-S deficient which means my body can’t fight clots.
After my first clot, doctors put me on various prescription blood thinners which I was on for years. While on the prescription blood thinners, I had 8 more clot events. Nothing serious, but clots all the same.
Then I started taking nattokinase around 2016 with no prescription blood thinners and I haven’t had a clot since.
Well, earlier this year I received some health news unrelated to my clotting issue, which was serious enough to make me forget to take nattokinase for a few months. I think I was simply overwhelmed.
And after a few months of not taking nattokinase, I had clusters of clots in my lungs, I was short of breath and had a mild heart attack.
I started taking nattokinase again of course and haven’t had another clot. It definitely works for me. You need 10800 fibrin units of nattokinase and take it with water on an empty stomach.
What's EGT?
I’ve been taking nattokinase for years and it is very effective.
Japanese are the only people to eat natto, they have far worse blood pressure rates than us (salt and liquor), but they have far less heart attack etc. rates.
Nattokinase and lumbrokinase are both vascular stabilizers. Both increase circulation efficiency and clean the vascular system. Lumbrokinase is more effective on fibroids. Nattokinase is more effective on plaque.
I use both.
Experimental gene therapy....
By surviving stomach acid and intestinal processing it elicits innate immune responses ? Natto is also the world’s richest natural dietary source of vitamin K2 which is why I take small (1 Tbsp) amounts daily. That alone pulls in the opposite direction on a molecular level by actually supporting clotting.
“I use both.”
Good idea. Thanks.
I’ve taking natto and coco-powder for about a year.
Had a comprehensive physical, the kind they require for public company directors every year.
My arteries show 0% calcification or blockage, which is remarkable for my age.
Health / life BUMP!
$$$$$$$
Note!
Everyone is different, but I have been taking BOTH for years, and I’m still here. :-)
Old question...what is the opposite of progress?
CON-gress, of course.
Just looked on Amazon, lots of brands. What do you use and how many FU/day?
>Good idea. Thanks.
Yeah, another great supplement is pure l-citrulline powder. There’s strong evidence it not only increases vascularity but also lowers blood pressure and restores the kidneys completely. Do you own research on this before trying, but there are some diabetic mouse tests in which the powder basically restored all kidney function in diabetic mice.
:)
Good to know...ty
