Yeah, but to the looney left, what does “Safeguard the Constitution” mean? Because their views on that are already pretty looney.
I would have liked this question, to really expose them: “Do you believe the military should remove Donald Trump from office?”

In the 1960s, it was the Left that feared a military takeover, especially with a President who wanted to end the Cold War. That was the plot line of Seven Days in May. At the time, the top levels of the Armed Forces had a significant number of right wingers who were unhappy with President Kennedy. The tables have turned in 60 years.
