Jennifer Eckhart, a former Fox Business associate producer and podcast host, was found dead Friday at her Martin County, Fla., home, authorities said. She was 36.
Eckhart appeared to have died by suicide, Martin County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Christine Christofek said in a statement.
Eckhart hosted “REINVENTED,” a podcast that her website described as featuring prominent figures in business, sports and entertainment who had overcome adversity on their path to success.
The most recent episode was posted in March and featured former Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg.
Eckhart previously worked as an associate producer at Fox Business.
In 2020, she accused journalist Ed Henry of sexual assault. Henry was fired by Fox News that year following an investigation into a complaint involving alleged sexual misconduct.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office did not provide additional details about the circumstances surrounding Eckhart’s death.
Eckhart’s podcast had centered on guests discussing setbacks, obstacles and efforts to rebuild their lives and careers, according to the description on her website.

Feels like she burned all her bridges at Fox Business and found that Podcasts are usually not big money makers.
No one is going to hire someone with questionable accusations.
Meygan Kelly was a big enough name but also didn’t get hired by anyone for the same reason.
Maybe all that plastic went to her brain.
It breaks my heart to learn of a young person committing suicide.
They usually don’t realize the trail of agony their suicides will leave behind, though I’m sure a certain percentage of them commit suicide with the intent to punish the survivors.
Very, very sad indeed. I hope there is no heartless mockery of her on this thread. How much pain she must have endured to do this.

even when turning life over to Jesus, it seems from people I know who struggled and or lapsed and did take their life, you can’t leave any space for the negative or evil thoughts to come in and linger.
Cast thoughts out, renew mind, help/do for others (helps not to focus on yourself), don’t let some thought make you check out early.
God knows their pains and struggles and who will make which choices, but I still believe we can put up our best fight against self harm.
As others commented, it greatly affects those they left here.
No criticism here. No opinion on or for her other than it was a waste of a God given life. I pray for her loved ones.
