Good thing, Gov. Hochul is focused on stopping ICE from arresting them.
New York’s Gov. Hochul just signed legislation protecting illegal alien criminals. Meanwhile some people keep mysteriously carrying out machete attacks.
Here’s one that just happened in Long Island.
A man accused of fatally attacking another man with a machete in Uniondale was arraigned Friday in Hempstead.
Prosecutors allege that 35-year-old Jorge Alexander Huezo Villatoro struck 40-year-old Tadeo Alvarado-Chavez on the head and body with a machete and continued the attack after the victim collapsed to the ground.
Prosecutors said the victim was left in a pool of blood.
Prosecutors said the suspect, who is from El Salvador, refused to provide information to police after his arrest. Villatoro was remanded and pleaded not guilty.
I wonder what criminal organization based out of El Salvador might be involved? Best not to ask and just ignore all the machete attacks.
And here’s a machete story from Long Island in May.
Two members of MS-13’s Hempstead Locos Salvatruchas (HLS) gang were each sentenced to 12 years in prison for attacking six victims with knives and a machete at a soccer field in Hempstead in October 2024 and two victims in the parking lot of a Uniondale laundromat with white pipes and a machete in December 2024.
On October 20, 2024, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Pedro Martinez Velasquez, Kelvin Martinez, and several indicted co-conspirators attacked six victims with knives and a machete as the victims were playing soccer in broad daylight at Kennedy Memorial Park in Hempstead.
And back in 2017.
Three people who said they are members of the MS-13 gang were arrested and charged with attempted murder after the victim said he was shot at and attacked with a machete in Westbury, Long Island, authorities said Wednesday.
The important takeaway here is that Gov. Hochul, Attorney General Letitia James and other New York Dems remain focused on stopping ICE so the machete attacks can continue.
