Kash Patel: Once again that matter is ongoing so I'm not going to comment on it. 

Mr. Welch: No. The question is not whether or not it is ongoing. The question is, whether as of this moment, has their been a single indictment?

Kash Patel: If I comment on it, that's commenting on an ongoing investigation and the FBI doesn't do that.

Mr. Welch: Mr. Patel, there's been no indictment. That would be public information, right?

Kash Patel:  “Not if it was sealed”…

I can relate to your frustration but the English language is not static. It is a living thing, constantly adapting to new circumstances, influences, and needs. It reflects the culture, society, and its speakers, and therefore it is bound to change as they all do. New words are coined, old words are discarded, meanings shift, verbs become nouns, grammar rules bend, and pronunciation varies. This is natural and inevitable, and it is what makes language so dynamic and expressive.
