I remember something from an American Kennel Club article years ago about the Golden Retriever; “This breed’s gentle playfulness makes it an ideal companion for young children’’.
Apparently for burglars too.
They can be very ‘exuberant’. Just the wagging of the tail can do a real number on anything in its way.
