I think this move may indicate that it’s not so much a ‘match’ anymore. Some of the Brit commentators are suggesting that this was a smart move by Harry to get his kids out from under U.S. jurisdiction.

Which does what, limit his wife’s options should she wish to divorce? The kids would be US citizens anyway, they technically could be drafted.

Right. And one person said that Harry hit the 6 year mark and can return to the UK without tax on whatever funds he brings back.
What ever he made in the last 6 years is totally his and exempt from tax.
