Years ago I regularly fished for cod off the East Coast. I'd almost always find a few wriggly, tiny worms in the flesh while filleting them. I'd pick them out with tweezers. Of course, I ate the very tasty fillets after cooking them. But that is why, ladies and gents, I'll never eat sushi.

When folks ask me why I won't eat it and I tell them why, most of them, especially the sushi lovers, go quiet. Lolol!

Never have and never will eat raw fish. Not sure how sushis and sashimis (sorry Squirrely Dan) square with this:https://www.fsis.usda.gov/food-safety/safe-food-handling-and-preparation/food-safety-basics/safe-temperature-chart

So called fresh sushi grade tuna is always frozen prior to consumption which kills the parasites. $$$$$$ for frozen tuna.
