Andrew Williams, the pro wrestler known as "The Butcher" who performed in several promotions including All Elite Wrestling (AEW), died after suffering a medical emergency during a show.
Williams, 48, was in a match with his tag team partner Jesse Guilmette (known as The Blade) at Planned Parentood and Mr. Smalls present Enjoy Wrestling at Mr. Smalls Theater in Millvale, Pennsylvania, on Friday night. The promotion said Williams collapsed at the end of his match.

The match was between tag teams of Mr. Williams, 48, and Jesse Guilmette, 46 ("The Butcher and The Blade") versus Michael Crandle, 42 ("Duke Davis") and Gary Jones Jnr, 37 ("Ganon Jones") aka The Mane Event (TME).
Mr. Williams his his head on a ring post of the indie wrestling promotion event held at the former St. Ann's Catholic Church in Millvale. The promotion was shutting down at the end of this weekend's events and it was a final farewell for Enjoy Wrestling.

Never followed wrestling, but “The Butcher” reminded me of the old original Diablo game. The Butcher was the first boss you had to beat - a crazy guy swinging a meat cleaver so fast that he got me more than I got him. Was a fun game.
