How convenient. How very very convenient. The Democrat candidate for governor of Ohio, Amy Acton, has refused to debate the Republican candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy.
Normally such a refusal to engage in public debate would be seen as detrimental to the chances of such a candidate. However, the political editor of the Washington Monthly, Bill Scher, leaped into the fray Friday to declare that refusing a debate can be a positive in, "Amy Acton Won’t Debate. It’s Worked Before.":

Going to the candidates’ debate
Laugh about it, shout about it
When you’ve got to choose
Every way you look at it you lose
Until we have "No one on this ballot", we will continue to not have elections but selections.
They used to have gifted politicans like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama but that’s no longer the case.

Also, the supposedly neutral moderators have always shown a bias towards one of the candidates.
And Daniel Ortega says elections are divisive so they won’t have any more............
Nobody ever elected any “moderators”.
They are invariably pompous jerks who think they are royalty.
