I have had RLS for a few years. It is not severe, just annoying. I also have developed neuropathy in my lower legs. While looking for help on neuropathy I found a Youtube video on a possible help if not a cure.
I've been on it for a month and have had no change in that. However, I noticed after a couple of weeks that my RLS was 99% gone. The regimen involves red light therapy and a few supplements.
Here's the list:
600 mg N-Acetyll L-Cysteine twice a day on empty stomach.
1000 mg Acetyl L-Carnitine twice a day on empty stomach.
600 mg Alpha Lipoic Acid
600 mg Benfotiamine with food
2000 mg Omega3 twice a day
400 mg Magnesium Glycinate with food
5000 iu D3+K2
5000 mcg B12
Don't know if only one or two of these helped or if they're all needed. I have no idea if this will help anyone else but if it does let's pass it around. And let me know if it works.
I got the red light on Amazon for under $40. Supplements from Amazon, too. I'm not affiliated with the guy in the video, nor did I buy anything from him.
Good luck, hope this helps someone.

each mag tablet has roughly 100mg (no matter what the bottle says). You need to take 6-8 PER DAY split 2 at a time (so 3 to 4 x per day). That will cure your restless leg, without a doubt
Several beers and a couple shots of some high end whiskey helps as well 😎
Hopefully something works!!
just a semi educated suggestion here, people probably want to be sure you get sufficient proteins too?
Protein is big for nerves and muscles.
Thanks be to God, for helping you find a way for some improvement !
I’ve had RLS for years. Like you, just annoying. Thanks for that update.
Why not remove the supplements one by one to know which one is helping you?
Find a good massage therapist.
Is RLS usually a prelude to Parkinsons disease?’Or are they two separate conditions?
Because I’m still trying fix the neuropathy.
restless leg syndrome.
Restless legs syndrome
Far as I know there’s no link, but doctors don’t seem to know what causes RLS so might be.
Related to PDQ.

Kramer’s girlfriend had Jimmy Legs
Was diagnosed with RLS I think in 2013. Horrible, electric-shock like jolts in legs, cramping in my feet, calf muscles, thighs, cold chills, and tingling and jerking in the muscles along with numbing spates. Could not walk or drive. Or sleep. Wasn’t sleeping so a doctor put me on alprazolam. That made my BP go down so off the alprazolam and on to chronic insomnia and RLS.
Neurologist told me, deep brain injury from the taper off the drug. Causes RLS and the other. I’ve been on pregabalin ever since high-dose. I’m quite the carnivore so lots of meat. No link there.
My feet still give me fits and feels like sand in my left sock. Tingling, pin pricks, you name it both feet.
I can walk and drive to some extent.
Massage does help and I’d recommend that. Also a foot massager that distracts the nerves so they’ll shut up before rest.
Hang in there and keep trying things. God Bless you it’s really hard dealing with this mess.
Ha ha.
Ha! Had forgotten that.
have a mild case. as always, not a doctor so do your own due diligence. like the Magnesium but maybe go with the L-Theonate version. read that works/adsorbs better for brain/nerves.
lots of leg and foot massage seems to help me. even just doing things, not sitting.
the ALA didn’t do much for me.
i’m also on NAD and CoQ10, among many others on your list, but i didn’t see those. lately i’ve added Methyl Blue to my supplement regimen, for many reasons, but it seems to be helping with my neuropathy too. can’t really vouch for that though. well that’s it for me.
may our Lord assist you in finding a solution for this!
“I’m quite the carnivore so lots of meat. No link there.”
I don’t know a lot, but I know protein plays a part in muscles, I used to be an LMT full time and helped many people with similar muscle nerve type issues over decades.
I knew I read more recent about RLS and protein connection.
Maybe this will help you find a missing link for you or others? I don’t know how to post links well, its search results about which proteins have been found more helpful for RLS.
