Perhaps ventilation will help?

Exactly...the rule in our house is if the gas stove goes on so does the fan. Fan goes off when stove goes off. Prevents accidentally leaving a burner on too.

It would be simple to add an interlock to an exhaust fan that vents out the roof. (We always turn the exhaust fan on before the burner lights.)

I am fairly sure all gas stoves have ventilation heck my electric stove has ventilation Don’t buy the gas stove causes asthma either with proper ventilation any fumes go out.
