PLYMOUTH, Mass. – A judge declared a mistrial in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial Friday on the seventh day of deliberations — but gave her defiant lawyer one hour to file an emergency appeal against the ruling.

The 12-person jury – made up of nine women and three men – told Judge William Sullivan that they could not agree on whether to convict Clancy, 36, of three counts of first-degree murder.

“I think a holdout saved an acquittal”

I think they saved a lower charge. I suspect the DA will just file a lower charge like second degree or manslaughter.

We have reached a stage where we couldn’t convict a female Adolf Hitler of murder. Abused childhood, PTS, and inappropriate drug prescriptions would be blamed.

On Fox yesterday evening they were saying both the defense attorney and the prosecutor knew the full statement (the judge only read part of it) so it seems indicative that it was the defense attorney wanting the holdout juror replaced.

Maybe the judge wasn't sure he would find an alternate juror who would vote "not guilty."

He’ll probably end up with a GiveSendGo that will allow him to move to a less insane state.

Now, prosecutors, do a better job of picking jurors.

Seeing that these prosecutors are from an extremely leftist state, I'm not so sure that they intend to do a better job. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that they tacitly want a guilty verdict to be avoided, despite their stated position.

Only one person asked for clarification of “beyond reasonable doubt.” That, in itself, does not entail that there was only one holdout. Do we know that there were no more?

One strong male stood strong. Even as the others complained to judge he was the only one who did not understand reason and doubt. He will be made known by media.

What’s worse is we know the holdout is male - and we also know there are three men on the jury. That means, assuming the one man voted guilty, that the other two men are REAL massholes - women at heart, walking around with penises.

“”The defense is appeal to vacate the mistrial to try to force the judge to make the jury reconvene and wear down the holdout.””

Right, if left up to the defense team, the one holdout juror would be browbeaten until they changed their verdict. That is NOT how justice is supposed to work...but the defense lawyer cares nothing about justice, obviously. This judge should have stuck to the mistrial and not given any leeway to Reddington. I can’t help wondering how this same trial would have played out in another state... like Florida or Texas, for instance.

We don’t. It’s a lot of assumption - which is why I try to couch my comments in possibilities instead of certainties.

They actually want him booted and replaced with an alternate.

Yes the judge stated the note sent by the jury foreman said it was one juror only.

Nine deranged women with female thinking disorder, all feeling virtuous about themselves by ‘empathizing’ with the murderer;

Two weak-minded beta males who gave in and submitted to female threats and browbeating;

One man.

But the judge rejected it. I was surprised at that.

The woman planned what she was doing because she knew her husband would try to stop her.

Strangulation takes time: about 2 minutes for the victim to pass out and a couple more to make sure they're dead. She had to deliberately do this from one child to the next.

On the one hand, the fact that she planned this and carried it out but somehow- magically!- managed to not plan her own suicide effectively all strongly suggest she's a psychopath, not a mental case.

On the other hand, from my experience having taken some medication that completely removed any anxiety from doing utterly dangerous things, there is a legitimate question whether the meds turned her into a psychopath.

I can easily see how a jury could split, but only 1 holdout seems very strange.

Check this out from Cardi B. Warning that she does drop some F bombs. Also, she doesn't get off to a good start, but hang in there with her.

Well Duh... it's like the OJ Simpson trial all over again. The only question is which XY was the guilty vote?
