PLYMOUTH, Mass. – A judge declared a mistrial in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial Friday on the seventh day of deliberations — but gave her defiant lawyer one hour to file an emergency appeal against the ruling.

The 12-person jury – made up of nine women and three men – told Judge William Sullivan that they could not agree on whether to convict Clancy, 36, of three counts of first-degree murder.

This all is part of a set up for the killing off of the young. This is to exhaustively destroy the conscience of mankind.

Abortion within the first trimester; then before the end of the second trimester; then into the third trimester; now in some places up to the moment of birth.

And some advocate giving no aid to newborns; allowing them to die on the delivery table, or in a designated infant slow death chamber somewhere.

It's time, in the mind of the wicked, to find legal justifications for parents to kill-off their young children, if they are inclined to do so, with impunity, before those youth have much chance to get involved in the narcotics culture where their survivability rate will be greatly diminished---perhaps the young people will die in gang-related violence, or be be trafficked away some place. Or maybe suicide.

Too highly cynical, you say.

It doesn't take much following of the Lindsay Clancy trial and her defense tactics to declare this to be more reality than not.

I failed to see those physicians at the defense table. Perhaps they were not the ones on trial. I guess the Lindsay Swarms have better eyesight than me.

I watched the DA give a statement after the mistrial was declared. It was very powerful. His insistence on the real victims being the children she killed was lost on many in the crowd but he did not waiver in speaking for them.

Well never tell a judge such since the presumption of innocence is a given in our legal system.

“Not really.”

Of course it’s from the Catholic prayer, the Hail Mary.

I’m sure you wouldn’t want to tell us where the expression comes from if it’s “not really” to prove your claim.

I meant that even if it started out at a Catholic uni as a reference to hasty prayers to the Blessed Mother for a win or goal or good tackle it certainly is not seen as such by the entire NFL. It has come to mean a last minute appeal against the odds for a victory. In the context of the NFL the meaning is secular.

Well, it’s a prayer. Whether they want to believe it or not

Roger Staubach started it. As a prayer to the Blessed Mother, to intercede for a miracle.

If the NY Post wants to call on some other miracle interceded for hope for a woman who killed her children they can try. But it is the wrong direction

And it’s dumb if not fully insulting and beyond that, horrific.

How do we know that the jury was 11-1 to acquit?

The defense lawyer wanted to remove only one juror on the pretext of "failing to follow the judge's instructions on the definition of "reasonable doubt".

We can reasonably conclude that one juror was voting for a conviction while all the other jurors were voting for acquittal.

If a hold-out juror can be replaced with a more compliant one, then what is the point of having a trial if we can just replace jurors during deliberations unitl we get one that votes the way we want?

100% A+

BTTT.

In our system, "deliberation" does not mean a group of jurors beating on other jurors. The process contains some magic, which is how it's supposed to work.

I don't know if it should be kept or not, but it's an ancient part of our traditions.

I can’t see another trial. If they were down 11-1, how do they get to 12-0?

Maybe the Corie A Walsh case in Illinois helps the sentiment for the prosecution?
