Question about Lancey Children
Free Republic ^ | 9-4-2026 | Me

Asking for a little help, maybe someone can give me some information.

Does anybody know if the Lancey children victims had toxicology and what Temperature the children were when they arrived in the Emergency room. Was that discussed in the trial? I ask because for two of them it would establish time of death. The husband said he was gone 45 min.

Who the hell is Lancey?

Are you asking for times of death for Cora, Dawson and Callan Clancy?

Yes - and the time of death was established to be AFTER the father left, if that’s what you’re angling at.

I fact, the 8mo old still had vital signs when EMS arrived and was put on life support and airlifted before finally being pronounced dead later.

SHE did this. By herself. Premediated.

Why are you asking? Because if your theory is that the father did it or they did it together, they are COMPLLETEY estranged now. Why would she be protecting him? Makes no sense to me.

Where did you see the coroner report, and temperatures at the emergency room. The husband was gone 45 min, so they should not have been ‘cold’. Did they do toxicology? Did the killer drug the children?

She’s an admitted murderer. Stop looking to excuse her. I’ll bet you think Mangione and Kohlberg are innocent too.

Like I said - children were found MORE than 45 minutes AFTER the father left - and the 8mo old still had vital signs. The toddler could *not* have been strangled to the point of not breathing (how they found him) and *still* had vital signs well over 45 minutes later. The toddler was strangled to the point of cessation of respiration VERY shortly before EMS arrived. I don’t need the coroners report. That proved the toddler was alive and breathing when the father left.

Because I have a brain.

And if you are insinuating the father killed them or was part of the crime you haven’t explain why his ESTRANGED wife is covering for him.

Why don’t you admit what your assertion is instead of attacking the information people are giving you?

Also - the woman freely admits SHE did it. What part of that is hard for you to grasp?

No, the murdering bitch did not drug the children before she wrapped her dainty hands around their necks and squeezed. Feeling their struggles and their pulse, looking into their eyes as they glazed over until that pulse was gone and they were dead.

Is that what you wanted to know dear?

They are reporting a mistrial.

Hopefully the next jury won’t be full of AWFULs like this one obviously was.

Nevermind Jake, its Chinatown...

Hard for me to understand the mental gymnastics these people go to to justify the murder of her children. She did it, but they still are trying to pin it on the father.

Magda Goebbels, a woman who was experiencing extreme stress over the loss of her beloved Reich at least drugged her children before murdering them.

“Why are you asking“

Some of the evidence makes no sense to me. Like how does someone leave for 45 minutes, someone kills the kids, attempts suicide, and gets core temperature down to 82 degrees. When you die, at 30F, your body should decrease about 2 degrees per hour. 16.5 degrees in a short period (1 hour, 2 hours, or even 3 hours) is unexpected. If the two children that did not get resuscitated core temperatures (and they were in the house) didn’t change much, then I can’t explain the mother’s temperature. If they were cold, then I can’t reconcile with the Husband testimony. The drugs could have affected the child cooling and time of death, so I hope they did toxicology.

Do we search for truth and justice, or we just take an opinion and walk away?
Like the lady that almost got pinned for her cop boyfriends death, who we hear later that may have died across the street, I just wonder about if they looked at the evidence or just selected it for a decision.

I have as much sympathy for one as I have for the other.

In a word, none.

IMHO you show your humanity by how you care for kids.

Our church's parenting group is helping a guy right now that had two kids dumped on him about a year ago. Not his kids, his former roommates. He has been taking care of them and can hardly take care of himself.

Is he perfect? Not even close. Is he doing his best to take care of children even though they are not his? Yes.

Compare and contrast.

People like him are what keep me going on days when I start thinking an asteroid does not sound so bad.

There are good people in the world.

You just don't hear about them.

Then explain to me how the toddler still had vital signs more than 45 minutes after the father choked him.

And explain to me why the mother SAYS she did it and why she is PROTECTING the ESTRANGED father, if the father did it.

You have to give me a rational arguments for those. Because you don’t understand the coroner’s report doesn’t make those facts just disappear.

Also - your numbers aren’t quite right. The rates of heat loss you quote are for a body in a room temperature environment, not 30F. And children, because the mass-to-surface-area ratio is much lower than adults cools much more rapidly. Here - work it out for yourself:

Individual factors intrinsic to the deceased significantly influence the rate of algor mortis, primarily by affecting the body's initial thermal state, heat retention capacity, and surface area exposure. Body size and composition play a central role, as larger bodies with greater mass and higher body mass index (BMI) cool more slowly due to increased thermal inertia and insulation from subcutaneous fat. Conversely, leaner individuals or those with lower BMI experience faster cooling because of reduced insulation and lower heat capacity. For instance, obese bodies retain heat longer, while smaller or underweight ones, such as those of children, dissipate it more rapidly

But here’s an even MORE important question you need to answer if you think the father did it. The defense lawyer cast shade at the father, suggesting there were timeline problems, etc. *YOU* obviously think the father did it. If the lawyer *really* thought the father did it he’d put the mother on the stand to take the father’s alibi apart. The lawyer doesn’t have to prove the father did it - he just has to convince the jury there are doubts. But he didn’t do that, did he? Why didn’t he put her on the stand to take apart the father’s alibi? Because she is a liar and her lies would have been taken apart on cross examination, so he couldn’t risk putting her on the stand. That’s why.
