FIRST ON FOX: ‘No Kings’ protest network behind fight against AI data centers and Flock cameras (pro-chicom)

FIRST ON FOX: The same hard-left network behind "No Kings" and other protests is leading the battle against data centers and Flock surveillance cameras, according to a Fox News Digital investigation and a new report.

In growing protests from San Francisco to North Carolina, organizations and activists associated with the same ecosystem that rallied against President Donald Trump, Israel, Elon Musk, Tesla and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over the last two years are now taking on data-center construction and license-plate readers.

The overlap includes organizations funded by pro-China, Shanghai-based tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham, whose sprawling nonprofit and media network has faced Congressional and federal scrutiny over its funding and foreign ties. Singham and the nonprofits he has funded have denied taking orders from any government or political party and haven’t been charged with any crimes.

The findings are detailed in a new report, "The Compute War at Home," commissioned by Consumer Action for a Strong Economy, an Alexandria, Va., free-markets nonprofit that used social-media analysis by Arken Intelligence, a technology firm based in Washington, D.C., for parts of its study.

"The money, media, organizing capacity and campaign objectives converge in the same ecosystem," the report says.

Based on reporting over the past several years from street protests, Fox News Digital has identified the protest movement’s evolution across three phases. The new report chronicles a repeatable political model, in which activists first identify a local grievance, then connect it to a larger ideological narrative and package the argument through national media and activist infrastructure and carry it into new communities.

Zoning doesn't allow data centers or factories in neighborhoods now. China has a vested interest in playing our press and our useful idiots for fools - fools that allow them to win the AI wars by knee capping our ability to compete.
My local paper published a comment right before Cubans and Chinese spies made their propaganda moves. They included the comment that Florida had over 200 data centers and in all these years they had not received ONE complaint about them.

AI data centers are another albatross on the neck of those families who will have to pay the ballooning costs of their electricity and water bills. These data centers need to be self supporting and pay for their own energy and cooling requirements from the profits they will make off the businesses that pay them to do their data processing.

Defending us from WHO exactly? And there are more enemies in Washington DC than there are in Moscow at this point.

Most everyone is against data centers. They create light pollution and they’re noisy. It’s going to be used to put everyone under surveillance. It’s going to be used for digital currency. There is zero reason to have over 5000 data centers. Unless they’re up to no good.

China has around 600 data centers. We have thousands. They have already lost.

One of the arguments for data centers is that they are use to develop weapons. I don’t buy that argument.

Their not “data centers,” they’re the infrastructure for a surveillance state.

yep

I hope he is issuing 1099s to all of these paid contractor protesters.

“The same hard-left network behind “No Kings” and other protests is leading the battle against data centers and Flock surveillance cameras, according to a Fox News Digital investigation and a new report.”

I guess they mind-control me also, along with 90% of Conservatives. Otherwise why complain about having my movements tracked and entered into a database that virtually anyone can access?

I wonder how many people on our side get tricked by this REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY?

“They belong in industrial zones and should generate at least some of their own electricity to offset the extra demand and higher prices.”

They ‘promise’ to generate nearly all of their energy...but then the Democrats PROMISED President Reagan to support a crackdown on Illegals...as long as he first allowed Amnesty.

How about we require their new power stations to be up and operating BEFORE we allow their data centers to come on line?

“A lot of other folks seem to be behind it too.”

I think there are a lot of retired cops here...and they either have used Flocks, or have heard great stories about them...because they work, so the cops don’t have to.

“Everyone who disagrees with me is a Red Chinese spy.”

I can see China having an interest in keeping the Ukraine War going on, it ties up our military and our weapons manufacturers, along with Ruzzia.

What I cannot see is why CHINA, of all countries, a country where you cannot even a store (at this point) without a big green square showing up on your phone, would object to a surveillance system that THEY BUILD and thus they have back doors into?

SpaceX will render earth-based data centers obsolete soon.

The dilemma then will be “what do we do with all these big sprawling buildings with computers in them?”

That' some of the dumbest things ever.

The pro data crowd is eerily similar to trust the science and vax crowd, same people.

China can use our data centers now. The entire world uses them daily, they don't pay a higher amount or different rate. Local communities subsidize the social costs and needs.

If you want higher food prices you would create vast networks of buildings and infrastructure that consumes water and electricity. You would put those in areas that are farm-able and in rural communities to change those areas and create even higher prices for farmland. Congrats, we are currently doing that.

The WH would be wise to visit data centers and projects that are being used to fight cancer and other projects. But, they won't.

The anti china argument would make sense if we had locks and restrictions on who can use them, but we don't. The ccp can use them, countries around the world who don't create data centers can use them. All of those places don't pay more than we do.

When is Jorge Soro the Nazi going to drag out his “No Ayatollahs” actor/rioters? The King and his wife have gone home to England. Kings are not the problem anymore. “No Ayatollahs” is the biggest problem now.

Thew newer data centers for AI demand multiple times as much electricity.

That could as easily describe today's Big Tech oligarchs. And the ones who own Big Media, Big Finance, Big Pharma, etc. Their greed is endless. They are "citizens of the world" who have contempt for the local populations. They want to remake society into a borderless, AI controlled dsytopia. And through transhumanism, remake themselves into gods.

A perfect example of this is the Tech Oligarchs' constant agitation for expanded H1-B visa programs so that they can get Asian coders for $50K a year rather than American coders for $100K a year. You have people who are the richest individuals to ever exist on Earth, with nearly limitless wealth and power, and they still feel entitled to short-change Americans and make a few more bucks by hiring foreign coolies in their place.

And of course, when it comes to data centers, they and their sycophants call anyone who doesn't want them driving up their utility prices or eating up valuable land in their communities a "Nimby" or a "Karen" - even though I don't see Larry Ellison's enthusiasm for a data center in his backyard. I guess that's not "Nimby" or "Karen", that's entitlement.
