The problem with that “there’s no difference” rhetoric is... the radical leftists (the commies) are making it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for mainstream Americans to not be scared witless over the sudden surge and takeover attempts by the “socialists” and the “muzzies” now running for office and currently serving in government in America.
Ironically... the radical left is actually helping our side, the Trump side....
for a change.
This is not just a contrast in Presidential administrations - the Republican lead government in Texas is what put these border protections up and a Democrat lead government would have never done that.
We have enormous records of legislative and governing successes across the nation by Republican controlled legislatures / governorships and there are still people who will argue there is no difference between the two parties. It is just breathtakingly stupid at best and contemptible dishonesty at worst.
What I see on this thread are a lot of Kneejerk Negative Nellies. They are predictable.
Don’t get me wrong. Rs have nothing assured in the midterms but there is no way this is going to be a big Democrat/DSA blowout as some of the Nellies bleat.
With the broad voting public,...

—Commie, foreign born ‘Rat judges are not popular
—DSA/Dem rabid policies are not popular
—Economy is improving
—Good jobs are aplenty
—Wages are up
—People have more money
—Iran mullahs/IRGC are panicking
—Trump will be rallying voters
—Some voter rolls are being purged, ongoing
—Voting fraud watchers are everywhere
—Blacks/Hispanic/Indys continue incremental move away from Dems
Nothing is assured, but there are many reasons to be hopeful.

That is correct. And the Democrats lost seats in 1998 - against the “rule” - and Republicans lost seats in 2002 - against the “rule”.

Be that as it may, I saw an analysis that if President Bush’s plans for SS had been put in place, recipients would be getting 3x the return and the system would be more solvent and far less costly (deficits/debt/cumulative interest on debt also being effected). We all knew that - but the hyperbolic demagoguery by the media and the Democrats stopped those badly needed reforms in their tracks. And here we are...a debt larger than our economy and an SS trust fund spiraling toward bankruptcy and retirees with far less income than they could have had. Another Democrat accomplishment.
