Within the next few years America will be an even more dominant player in the global energy market. Previously the natural gas in question had to be flared off in West Texas because there was no means of delivering it anywhere or left in the ground on the North Slope of Alaska for the same reason.
Thread was mistakenly placed in the dental convention site but here it is. 😁
We are currently the largest exporter of oil in the world. And our sweet variety is in great demand.
There are three main reasons the previous efforts failed. You notice the video just said they just failed.
The reason they failed was becasue of this:
Environmental and Climate Opposition: Grassroots groups and environmental organizations increasingly fight these projects.
Courts frequently revoke federal permits, finding that agencies failed to properly evaluate environmental, water, or wildlife impacts under laws like the Clean Water and Endangered Species Acts.
Shifting Political Support: Presidential permit approvals change with administrations, leaving multi-billion-dollar projects vulnerable to sudden cancellation by incoming leadership
Economic Pressures: Rising construction costs, persistent delays, and legal uncertainty make financial backers and energy companies increasingly wary of long-haul infrastructure investments
Every one of these was politicially motivated and the harm to the projects was spearheaded by liberals using their green agenda.
If this is so important, then the previous acts to curtail it is just another attack on the possible growth and flurishing of the US economy and its citizens. Biden actions and executive orders are a perfect example:
January 2021 Pause: Shortly after taking office, Biden signed an executive order directing a temporary pause on new oil and natural gas leasing on public lands and offshore waters while conducting a comprehensive environmental review.
January 2025 Permanent Withdrawal: In his final days in office in January 2025, Biden issued presidential memoranda under Section 12(a) of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act. This action permanently withdrew more than 625 million acres of federal waters from future oil and gas leasing.
Affected Areas: The 2025 withdrawal covered the entire Atlantic Coast, the Pacific Outer Continental Shelf (off Washington, Oregon, and California), the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and portions of Alaska’s Northern Bering Sea.
And before that Obama was in the mix:
There’s more, but I am long on this one already.

The problem is that oil companies have said over and over again that they have no desire or plan to increase drilling. They like the margins where they are and don’t want that to change. This has been their story for years now.
We can cheer DRILL DRILL all we want. They don’t want to.
Watch the video. We left natural gas in the ground in Alaska and flared it off in west Texas because we didn’t have the pipelines in place to deliver it. That piece of the puzzle is being built right now in multiple places.
