PROVO, Utah — Accused Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson returns to a Utah courtroom Tuesday for a hearing that could send his case to trial or dramatically reshape it, with a judge to weigh whether prosecutors have shown enough probable cause to support the aggravated murder charge that puts the death penalty on the table — and the suspect may finally be asked to enter a plea nearly a year after the slaying.
Robinson, a 23-year-old from Washington, Utah, is accused of firing a single shot that killed the 31-year-old father of two during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on Sept. 10, 2025.
While the defense has argued that prosecutors have not established enough probable cause to pursue aggravated murder, which carries the potential death penalty, experts tell Fox News Digital that they don't expect Judge Tony Graf Jr. to take it off the table just yet.

Kirk’s magnetic personality, true (apparent) conservtive values and ability at organizing made him almost a certain player in future significant Republican politics, many say POTUS even.
The freakish trans-loving Robinson killed him and violated every decent essence of our culture—- free speech, public gatherings, safety, rule by law, due process and morality etc etc etc.
I’ve rarely seen a man deserve death more. He was photographed by security cameras calmly eating ice cream at DQs 6 hours after shooting the throat out of a Man. In front of his children and thousands of horrified college students to boot.
Pure evil.
This has become a very long trial. Maybe that is by necessity. There is so much evidence to consider and evaluate.
**Luigi’s trial will be even longer and if allowed, will become a vulgar kind of circus, with Fan Girls acting like some sort of Greek Chorus in the courtroom. Last I heard, his trial has been postponed indefinitely, after he pleaded guilty. That was most unexpected. Maybe he hopes to get by on Manslaughter charges.
Lack of a speedy trial is as much a constitutional violation on the public as it is on the perp. The public DESERVES swift and definitive justice be done.
Old west justice would reduce this kind of cold blooded murder.
Didn’t he already take a guilty plea in federal court, Which would preclude A New York trial by state law? There may never be a trial for Mangione.
What about KSN? More than two decades after 9/11 and they still refuse to prosecute this guy.
aggravated? Planned assassination!
Perp should have been executed long ago. Our system of justice is as broken as Congress.
Find him guilty, kill him by firing squad, move on with life.
This killer has stolen way to much of the life and light of the world. End it.
The crime was committed already 1 year ago. That’s more than enough time to investigate and hold a trial
“Justice” would have been Robinson convicted and hanged six months ago.
At present, after 1 year, we are still at “preliminary hearing” stage. A trial is still six months off in the future
After appeals, etc... this farce will have gone on 5 years. How is that “Justice?”
A citizen has the right to a speedy trial. Not the public.
Luigi will be freed within 5 years. Guaranteed. Either by a Democrat president/governor, or by “revolutionaries” who takeover NYC.
KSN is being protected by somebody or a group of like minded professionals. I don’t know why, except to assume these protectors are sympathetic toward KSN’s motivations of Bloody Jihad vs the USA.
What especially bothers me is the body blow this has dealt to the conservtive cause.
A massive victory for the left.
If executed the left lost a trans freak—a useful idiot, we lost a future leader. I know it’s not the American way but it makes me understand why many people in history reacted to this sort of violence in kind.
one side playing by the rules when the other side is allowed cheats usually mean you lose.
And gained a martyr.
Rope and Tree would suffice nicely.
You have no proof that he pulled a trigger. What if he was a patsy? The public has a right to the truth, so if a patsy, WHO else was involved? Who really is at the heart of the crime? If left in your hands we may never get to the priceless truth. The pretrial has revealed countless contradictions and improprieties by the prosecution. Yes, justice must be swift, IF just. Rash judgment is a sin.
If a pre-meditated, highly-planned assassination for political purposes, with zero remorse by the killer, does not merit the death penalty, what does? Hang him high and leave him to rot for public edification.
he’s admitted it...
