[S]uffragettes argued that women possessed the same intellectual capabilities to exercise political judgement as men, and therefore they should be granted the same political privileges as their husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons.
Unfortunately for women, Lindsay Clancy truthers are now doing their best to prove those suffragettes wrong. Women’s constitutions and hormonal balances are so precarious, they argue, that women should be exempted from our criminal laws and ruled incapable of making moral judgments. Sounds oddly reminiscent of the “sexist” men they claim to detest.
It’s highly unlikely that a majority of women would condone Clancy’s actions, but a nonzero amount do, and those women don’t hesitate to assert that they speak for “all women.”

The whole discourse is stupid, counterproductive, and further divides the country. We start by making the conservative, Christian case for happiness and good values to women. We make the case for men to get off the couch, work, get married, have kids and honor women, not whine about the 19th amendment.
Being unable to control your mouth around people who can knock you out is a big factor too.
Whether all women should not be voting is an argument not debatable by the standards of the insanity of women hating children and family enhanced by this culture of death arguably brought about by the broad acceptance of artificial birth control enthusiastically endorsed by men.
Matt Walsh?
Please. He has a high school diploma. He is attitude and low info. Wasting my time
What would he know about how a psychotic break happens?
“Justin Brower, a forensic toxicologist with NMS Laboratories, testified that his lab examined the levels of four psychiatric medications detected in Clancy’s blood after she allegedly strangled her children and attempted to take her own life.
Those drugs included the antidepressant mirtazapine, the mood stabilizer lamotrigine, the antidepressant trazodone and quetiapine, a drug used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder. Brower noted that quetiapine could also be prescribed in low doses to treat insomnia.“

Differences in Frequency of Violence and Reported Injury Between Relationships With Reciprocal and Nonreciprocal Intimate Partner Violence
https://ajph.aphapublications.org/doi/full/10.2105/AJPH.2005.079020
Half of all relationships that feature violence are reciprocal. In the instances that the violence is non-reciprocal, in 70% of the cases, it is the woman who is the aggressor, not the man. What's more, those statistics do not take into account the massive issue of under-reporting from men, out of a fear of not being believed, or of having their story not taken seriously. Almost half of the time when two women are in a relationship with each other, their dynamic is violent.
"When I opened the refuge in 1971, I knew from the beginning that it wasn’t just men. Of the first 100 women, 62 were as violent as the men they had left." - Erin Pizzey 'An invisible hero for invisible victims: interview with domestic violence pioneer, Erin Pizzey'
"Remember it’s more likely to be women who are more violent than fathers. The safest place for a child is with its biological father, because after mothers as abusers the next worst is stepfathers, or boyfriends of the mother." - Erin Pizzey 'An invisible hero for invisible victims: interview with domestic violence pioneer, Erin Pizzey'
Violence is not a male issue. Lesbian couples are by far the most likely to have domestic violence. Gay men are the least likely.
Women are currently arguing that they are not to be blamed for their actions due to their hormones. That's arguing a lack of agency. If they don't have agency, they shouldn't be signing contracts, voting, driving, etc. They can't have it both ways.
Conversely, imagine a man blaming his actions on male hormones. The prisons would be emptied tomorrow and a man would never face trial in a court again.

I was this on Pookie's Toons this morning, and it made me think:
Men would never do this. A man would never get away with this. Not even close. So, are woman who stick, up for her, saying that:
Just asking.
You beat me to it. See my post above.
Lindsay Clancy supporters see themselves in her, they see the abortion they had and they use Clancy as a means to justify it that is why they support her. Her own lawyer said on Wednesday that Lindsay supports “womens rights” so there ya go, she is one of them, probably attended a few No Kings protests and supports abortion not only til birth, but AFTER birth too
I don’t often laugh at your comments, but that was funny right there.
Ah, humblegunner! I haven’t seen you for awhile. I am glad that you are still with us!
In the same comment you cite the forensic toxicologist as if their credentials outweigh logic. That's the Fallacy Star Power, aka Faulty Use of Authority.
Mr. Fauxi claimed to be not just an expert but claimed "I am the Science." yet his hidden emails and texts showed he was lying through his teeth.
Let’s not forget the “male voice” that ONLY appeared when he told her to kill her kids but when her husband called during the killings, the voice went away, she talked to him rational, then once she hung up, the voice came back again. Heck Im surprised she didnt claim that Donald Trump was that male voice
LOL...wait for it...wait for it...
“ Women are currently arguing that they are not to be blamed for their actions due to their hormones.”
Just this woman
Female hormones have been used as an excuse for criminal behavior, long before this case. This is just next level behavior that they're trying to remove accountability for.
“ Belittle Matt Walsh all you want. His point stands on its own.”
He lists only adderal. It’s your entire argument. If stating facts is belittling him so be it.
Nobody really understands anything about women and they never will. But one thing we know: They're the single greatest problem facing the world today.
- Al Bundy
If Lindsay Clancy had crushed three bald eagle eggs, the court wouldn't even entertain the idea that prescription drugs or hormones lessened the punishment for her actions.
