The article hints at a stylistic quirk I see (but more often hear) everywhere.

The pattern starts with an assertion:

“Left handed artichokes soon found out that they could alter the results”.

NOT by abcxyz <———
NOT by defghi <———

But by jklmnop

There are always two post-assertions starting with “not——

Notice it, and you’ll hear it everywhere in AI-generated video narrations.

Watch any YouTube video that claims to be a historical, narrated documentary of any sort. Between 5 and 8 of the assertions made follow this pattern.

I recently watched on YT a video about health and exercise. Apparently, the poster has not bothered to listen to his own work. I was assuming that the poster had AI do his narration, but perhaps the entire product is just AI-generated.

Found it very annoying to hear the expression “wind down” pronounced as though the first word is referring to moving air.

The patterns I find in YouTube AI slop are things like tempting lead-ins: "Here's the kicker, here's what you don't know, here is what is quietly running in the background..." (They love the word quietly.)

They also start with long, drawn out stories of how things are before telling you, here's the kicker, what you don't know, what's running quietly in the background...

They do also start a lot of statements with AND.

A lot of the YT bots mispronounce names or say the year by digit. I’d say it’s twenty twenty-six and the bot will say it’s two zero two six. Then many are just a handful of pictures, or file videos with a fruity narrating voice very short on facts.
