Royce White brought his crusade to Indiana.
The former NBA first-round pick wore a long blonde wig and sat courtside for the Fever’s 111-91 win over the Sun on Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
On his Instagram, White wrote, “The Kweeeen has arrived! They better bow for a beautiful Black Trans Lesbian!” with a smirk on his face.
White, who, along with Enes Kanter Freedom, has been trying to push the WNBA amid the ongoing debate surrounding transgender participation in women’s sports.
His appearance comes not long after Kanter Freedom, the former NBA big man, was courtside during a Fever game in Chicago against the Sky, where he was ejected after an altercation with Sky guard Natasha Cloud in the third quarter.
Kanter Freedom, 34, was subsequently banned from Sky games for his actions.
White, who is 35 years old, continued his bit Friday, referring to himself as “Queen Roysha.”
Both Kanter Freedom and White announced their intent to enter the 2027 WNBA Draft, claiming to identify as women, which has drawn strong reactions from many within basketball and in the media, including current WNBA players like Cloud and Sparks star Cameron Brink, as well as the Fever’s Sophie Cunningham, whose words have ignited protests and counterprotests outside of WNBA arenas in recent weeks.
The WNBA has already said that both Kanter Freedom and White are ineligible to enter the 2027 draft.
