No, she was the mother of the Son of God. Not the mother of God the Father. Nobody says she is Mother of God the Father.
She is Mother of God the Son; Jesus, fully man and fully God. Thus, she is the Mother of God. To deny this is to either deny she gave birth to Jesus, who is God, or to deny Jesus is God.
