I think I would rather have him and Thune spend time passing a budget and the SAVE act. But then I also would rather have had them do that than taking yet another vacation.
Johnson's "power move" would take very little time to start and complete.
Withe the number of R politicians available there is no reason why they cannot do all three.
Unless, of course, too many of those R's are compromised. In which case, Johnson needs to challenge those R's so they be removed by the voters.
