Been there. Not the most beautiful church in the world but the most revered. No question. What surprised me was at one end you have the tomb-holy sepulchre and at the other end the supposed site of the crucifixion at the other. The Bible says they were nearby to each other so you get two for one holy sites in that one church.

Change the word "tourists" to "pilgrims" and the meaning changes. Plenty of both, I am sure. Some "tourists" might even have a life-changing experience.
