If it wasn’t for the fact it appears these were retail bags of cheese balls:
Gather up a couple trash cans worth of the cheese balls, then unleash a large flock of free range chickens.
Wait an hour or until when there are only a few loose cheese balls left.
Lay out the 2 trash cans worth in a large live trap with a remote control trigger.
Once the chickens are in the trap, trigger the door.
Take the chickens back to their regular runs, roosts, etc., and open trap door.
You’ll never get that kind of energy and efficiency out of a Highway Dept. clean up crew.
This won’t work well on a windy day.

You beat me to it. But I was first in on the post about the squid all over the highway in Rhode Island last week.
Another truck spilled huge mounds of squid.
Did the drivers have a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)...
