A notorious Israeli mob boss was gunned down at a gas station — with shocking video showing his assassin creeping up to shoot him at point-blank range from behind.
Yanis Yushvaev, the head of the Caucasian Mafia and one of Israel’s most dangerous criminals, was gunned down in Caesarea on Sunday — 10 years after surviving an assassination attempt.
The killer, in a gray hoodie and baseball cap, was seen following the mob boss and two friends out of the gas station — then whipping out a handgun and shooting from a blank range on the steps, video shared by Ynet shows.
The killer may have been disguised with a silicone mask, allowing him to remain on the run, according to Belaaz News.
Yushvaev — whom cops have called the head of a “criminal gang involved in blood feuds” — collapsed onto the floor while the two other men cowered in terror, unaware the gunman was behind them.
Yushvaev had “no pulse and was not breathing, and was suffering from significant injuries,” medics said before pronouncing him dead.
Yushvaev insisted he was nothing more than a “very-well established” businessman who owns a restaurant.
However, he had been arrested numerous times on suspicion of involvement in shootings, grenade attacks and car burnings, while escaping conviction, according to the Times of Israel.
He was killed just six months after being arrested at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport upon his return from Moscow.
Cops had gathered intelligence he was planning to do harm to his rivals, Ynet reported. He was never charged.
In recent years, Yushvaev was arrested in connection to arson attacks and shootings but was never charged.
He was indicted in 2021 after threatening to gun down a businessman if he didn’t pay $1.1 million.

This was a pro job. The shooter was able to time walking in the door of the building just as the target was walking out. He definitely had a coms team helping guide and time his movement.
