Heavens! I thought it was the players who got into trouble. Seems the owners want in on it.

Having a cell phone counts as a criminal tool.

He needed a better lawyer. Arrested, convicted, and sentenced to jail time all over one weekend?

Unless he was up to something much worse and plead down to that with a strong suggestion that he never vacation in Youngstown again. Maybe a domestic element involved.

He was picking up a prostitute.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York pleaded no contest to criminal charges after being arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution in Ohio over the weekend, according to court documents.

The State of Ohio amended the one count of engaging in prostitution to a disorderly conduct charge before York pleaded no contest on Monday. He was also convicted of possessing criminal tools.

York, whose legal name is John Edward York, was arrested Sunday morning in East Palestine, Ohio, by the local police department assisting the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. He was booked into Columbiana County Jail.

I don’t know if he has a significant other that is waiting at home for him. If it was me I would take a plea deal as fast as I could to get this out of the press. My wife would be punishing me later.

What the hell are San Fran Sicko billionaires doing in mid-west rust belt Ohio with “criminal tools?”

Is it a pedo/Epstein thing?

What did Eddie DeBartolo ever do that compares to nonsense like this? Give the team back to Eddie.

Owner of an NFL team and he can’t score better than a street hooker? That confidentiality didn’t work out the way he planned.

a strong suggestion that he never vacation in Youngstown again.

I have stayed in Youngstown.

Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in Youngstown with all that stuff!

Said nobody, ever.

They did have a traditional Latin Mass and reasonably priced hotel accommodations.

I was never so inclined to seek out a prostitute, but you would think that being wealthy would make it a little less likely to get arrested for it. From what I can see, this guy is a third generation in the family business. That explains a lot.

Youngstown is the DeBartolo family’s home town. York is married to a DeBartolo.

Imagine having that wealth and power. Most of us don’t. Those that do have young mistresses. We don’t. What I’m saying is that it’s in all of us. Those that don’t take advantage are seen as chumps. It’s no big deal anymore and I’m sure women are the bigger offenders. They’re weaker more ways than one so they just have to be quieter about it.

It's Youngstown. In San Francisco, the "she" would likely turn out to be a he.

And again, it's Youngstown. He might have some horrible kink that you can't get in high-price circles - like something in an abandoned factory with someone who's ancestors worked there - to bring him back to his family roots or something.

Youngstown, Ohio

is a mob town.

He needed a better lawyer. Arrested, convicted, and sentenced to jail time all over one weekend?

He was probably in town for a party and felt out of place as the only one there without a prison record.

He probably pleaded no contest.
