American cattle has been at an all time low in recent years , I assume it will take awhile to get the numbers back up.
I’ve read that the problem is the lack meat processing plants but I really don’t know much about that
What’s interesting is that during COVID, farmers asphyxiated tens of thousands of hogs due to not having a market but they’re prolific breeders and recovered well. Same with chickens, notice no one is complaining about egg prices anymore?
