All our Burger Kings went out of business over a year ago when the local franchisee went bankrupt.

We lost 5 stores in Ft. Walton Beach, Destin and Niceville.

Probably more in Pensacola and Panama City, I don’t know.

They also had the Hardees franchise and that’s gone now as well.

But we still have McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Whataburger, Sonic, Five Guys, Chic-fil-A, KFC, Popeyes, Zaxby’s and Slim Chickens............

In August 2019, Popeyes quietly launched a fried chicken sandwich that turned into one of the biggest fast food moments of the decade.

What started as a simple menu item instantly went viral after a back-and-forth with Chick-fil-A on social media, sparking what became known as the “chicken sandwich wars.” Within just two weeks, locations across the U.S. completely sold out as lines wrapped around buildings and customers waited hours just to try it.

The demand was so extreme it doubled store traffic, generated tens of millions in free marketing, and even led to nationwide shortages and real-world conflicts over the sandwich.

More than 20 major chains rushed to release competing sandwiches in the following years, turning a single drop into a full industry shift, proving that one viral product could still control the entire internet.

BK shakes, if accidently left to melt, turn into a homogenous mass of vomit inducing liquid.
