A man who shot and killed four people in a Lancaster home before setting their house on fire and leaving their three dogs to burn to death will face life imprisonment.

“The defendant was jilted when he broke up with his boyfriend and then did something unimaginable when he killed four innocent people,” said L.A. County District Attorney Nathan Hochman. “This was a calculated act of violence that left a void for the victims’ families that can never be filled.”

This happened in California. And California still has the death penalty. But it hasn’t been carried out since 2006, due to a series of weak and woke governors.

However, maybe this guy plead guilty because he didn’t want to be the first person executed there since 2006.

One moral of the story: A state’s death penalty law still has value even if it’s rarely (or never) used.

When will people realize that no one is obligated to stay with another person, no matter what vows they took? If they say they want out, let them out. You will ultimately be better off in the long run. Do you want to force someone to stay with you if they don’t like you? How would that work? And to get mad because they don’t like you? In 2016 CA voters passed Proposition 66, to strengthen and expedite the death penalty. Newsom announced when he took office that he would allow no executions to go forward while he is governor. Our overlords love the will of the voters if the voters agree with the rulers. If not, the voters can F off and their will will not be enacted. Other notable examples include Prop 187 regarding illegal aliens, and Prop 8 which outlawed gay marriage
