having never been to a meeting on these issues, never had access to the intelligence, and never been privy to any internal discussions

You do realize that this particular line of argument can be applied to any decision made by any President when it comes to foreign policy, right?

By this logic, not a single civilian had any right to question the foreign policy decisions of not just Trump, but Biden, Obama, Bush, Clinton, etcetera.

Given that the ability to declare war is constitutionally vested in Congress—the branch directly representative of the people—the concept that we should never question or criticize decisions made by the executive is utter bunk.

Which brings me to this particular line: [their]posts largely reflect an anti-Trump bias...with the specific purpose of promoting dissension within the Trump Administration and demoralizing Conservatives.

Trump was elected to accomplish specific things, and to not do other things. He campaigned on no more "stupid wars" in the Middle East.

Nobody voted for Trump to start a stupid war with Iran. (And I guarantee that if Biden or Obama had done the exact same things that Trump has done thus far, he would have been railing on Truth Social about how poorly it's been handled.)

Nobody wants Trump to continue the war with Iran, because it is a distraction from more important things domestically.

One of the hallmarks of a Conservative point of view is that they accept the world and human nature for what it is; as such, reality checks are a constant necessity.

So if a reality check like the above is "demoralizing" to you, then that's your problem.

That is true.

But consitently swallowing whole the narratives of the likes of the New York Times and, at the same time uniformly and predictably condemning the narratives of an administration on the same subject is not the same as disagreeing with an administration.

Simply disagreeing with an administration is not what I am describing.

Here’s a reality check for you re: your attempt to equate intelligence failures under Trump and Netanyahu with anything Obama and OBiden did.... it’s bunk.

Obama released pallets of cash ($1.7 billion, to be exact) to the Iran mullahs, who were then and still ARE funding anti-America terrorism. And... Obama was best buds with the Muslim Brotherhood, or have you conveniently forgotten? Obama and OBiden both deliberately opened up our borders and allowed in terrorists and hoards of criminals and insane cretins. That’s deliberate sabotage (if not treason), not merely an “intelligence failure”.

That said... in your case, I won’t even say “nice try”... because that argument of yours is just about THE most asinine I’ve seen presented by your ilk yet. I’m sure you can and will top it, though. After that latest post of yours, I have ultimate faith in your ability to spout even more ludicrous utter BULLcRAP.

Oh, and as for anything you say being demoralizing... hell to the no on that. I don’t let lies and propaganda bother me enough to do anything but call it out and refute it. Because in the end, liars never win. Your day will come.
