Russia doing what Russia does. Destroy, steal and kill its neighbors in the historical Russian way.

I’ll have that done in 24 hours.”

Guess who said that .

Perhaps this is part of the reason it didn’t happen

Reminder, it was Putin that turned down Trump's planned ceasefire.

Russian President Vladimir Putin repeatedly rejected and placed strict conditions on peace terms and temporary ceasefire proposals pushed by U.S. President Donald Trump, leading to stalled high-level diplomatic summits and ongoing friction over territorial control and foreign military aid to Ukraine.

You fail to justify the killing of Ukrainians.

Your assertion about Putin’s motives is propaganda drivel.

He has undoubtedly killed Russian speaking Ukrainians fighting for Ukraine.

Oh well here it is.

The Russians invaded a foreign country.

That will get you killed and it is justified.

Those aren’t Zelensky derived allegations. Those are simple facts. Russians can leave Ukraine. They can do so peacefully. If Ukraine invaded Russia you would make that assertion.

There is no moral equivocation here. Russia invaded. You lost the moral edge there.

Russia plays this game with every border nation. They encourage emigration for that purpose. It is how Hitler said the Sudetenland was his.

It is invasion. Russia is on the wrong side of the border.

Its Putin that has maximalist demands for any ceasefire, basically Ukraine's surrender.

The Russians are not going to leave the Donbass. Zelensky wants to recapture all the occupied territories of Ukraine.

Zelensky thinks he can do it with drones.

Perhaps you should do your research and look on both sides - Zelensky’s demands would mean a deal had been made before he would sit down - both he and Putin are having hissy fits with each other.

Hit several AIs with “Zelenky’s demands before he will sit down to talk about a peace deal”

Deceptive, because those are Ukraine's five conditions for reaching a "just and lasting" deal to end the war with Russia NOT requirements to start negotiations.

Did Zelensky offer to meet Putin for negotiations without ANY pre-conditions? Yes

And its funny you don't mention Putin's maximalist demands, EVEN FOR A CEASEFIRE.

Russian President Vladimir Putin conditions any ceasefire or peace framework in Ukraine on sweeping, maximalist demands. Rather than accepting a temporary or unconditional pause, Moscow insists on terms that require major Ukrainian territorial concessions, military downsizing, and political restructuring.

I didn’t say Putin wasn’t a problem - I just said that Zelensky was also a problem - who does he expect to enforce his demands, us? Nato? The EU? I believe most thinking folks say we have no dog in that fight - in which case we need to be realistic instead of one-side prejudiced.
