Even what I had was better than the kids of today. I can’t believe what a cesspool these schools have become.
My sister is a paraprofessional in a school that I’ll not say where. She is traumatized because a special needs child attacked her. She had to escort the boy to the bathroom one day, on the way there the boy pulled down his pants and just pissed right there. He then totally underessed, squatted down, took a dumb, then started to throw feces at my sister. She had a walkie talkie and called the office for help, they sent staff quickly but she was at her wit’s end.
This happened in a grade school. We never saw kids act like that when I was in grade school. Mrs. Ross, the principal would have busted their butts then their parents would have.
We had special needs kids in my time; but the ones who might be disruptive and needed special care had their own classrooms and specialists teaching them.
