Pro Tip: Most stores have an automatic sprayer that wets down the produce periodically. Just touch one of the wet veggies to get a little moisture on your fingers and voila! Bags open easily.
Alternate version: Look for asparagus sitting in water.
Desperate version: Go to the frozen food section and touch the condensed water on the inside of door - or almost anything in the case.
Of course, not as fun as the young gal!
