About 5 decades ago when those produce plastic bags first came out I was in the grocery store trying to get some veggies. My fingers just weren’t getting the bag open. A young gal nearby saw me fumbling, never said a word, took the bag away from me, popped it open and gave it back. She left quicker than I could say “thank you.” That’s been my method ever since. Wait for a gal to get close and ask for help. My fingers still aren’t any good at bag opening.
