POTUS essentially confirms my analysis that he is engaged in a modern version of siege warfare, and will starve Iran out economically.
Trump is perfectly content sitting in his current position. With control of the strait, and a blockade on any and all imports/exports in and out of Iran, Trump has Iran and their trade partners by the balls. If they want the economic squeeze to stop, they must capitulate to Trump’s demands.
Trump does not have to send boots on the ground. He can just hold his dominant position, and Iran will implode. They can either submit, or perish.
Trump is proving that he is not like the corrupt Presidents of the past, and that there are more effective and precise ways to defeat our enemies.
I think Trump is talking to the Global Deep State. What can Iran itself possibly have left? The opposition to Trump’s actions, I think, must be coming from the DS, from what is left of the rogue portions of the CIA, etc.
This is their last stand, and he is going to take them out at last.
Trump is referring to stuff we have put up here. We know how Iran exists and the most recent info we have suggests they are still selling from 800,000 to a million barrels of crude a day.
Most of it is to China. They deliver it to China through the dark fleet which we have outed here. The "dark fleet" is small ships with fake flags that are expertly camouflaged. They are difficult to stop. Worse yet is that the Iranian crude or the crude they deliver to china has been mixed with other crude to make isolating it even harder.
As previously mentioned when it gets to the coast of china, its refined by what's known as "teapot refineries". These are small refineries along the Chinese coast are near impossible to stop.
Once the crude is delivered China has a slick manipulation of payment. It's a combination of money and trade outs. The money is laundered through who knows how many hands until it reaches the irgc heads. Once they are paid they buy more weapons.Meanwhile, reportedly, their soldiers go unpaid and the population nears starvation if they are not already there.
The other form of payment is in everything from food to arms to whatever Iran needs you can bet. The chicoms want to rule the world. If they have to use the muzzies as front men so be it. They don't care. We are in the way. Problem for the chicoms is that the muzzies want to rule the world as well.So sooner or sooner the two will ultimately clash.
Trumps plan is solid.The gamble is that it will work in time for the mid-terms. THe mid-term elections are now being savaged by the mockingbird media and the rinos. They care more about money than the future of the country.
I would disagree with Clandestine's comment "boots on the ground are not necessary" claim. He may be injecting logic into where it does not apply. Hard to say. It's hard to analyze a war from a desktop.
The one thing that is missing in the Presidents plan is ground troops. I don't see how you root out irgc terrorists who are dug in like hamas was.They concentrate in places like churchs, mosques, schools, hospitals, all places that are not high on the bombing raid list.
The only way to take out the terror types in these arenas are on the ground with seasoned fighters who know the areas. That means CIA/MoSSAd and IMHO lots of Kurds and locals who are well armed.
Add in the above and we win every time.The only question would be how long it takes. Add in the above and you have sure regime change which is the only way terrorists who have no value at all for life can be stopped. They have to be out of power for Iran to have a chance.
The president may still be depending on logic. If he takes away everything the irgc needs "logically" they give up. Problem is do they really use logic or are they hopelessly brainwashed? My guess is they are not high on logic.
So it looks like if they can continue with the dark fleet they may get subsistence money and other goods from China. Question is will it be enough to get them beyond the mid-terms?
Best bets are the day after the midterms all hell will break out in Iran.
Much like Russia holds back in Ukraine since they have so much support by the people in the Ukraine with roots in Russia we have kept from going all out in Iran with the bombing raids and other methods in Iran.
Take that away and the Iranian war could end real quick. We saw how fast things went in Venezuela. Could that happen in Iran?
